This lovely Konavle town with its large stone church on the hill has become an international meeting place for numerous tourists arriving Sundays to view the traditional folklore performances held under the clear blue sky, and to enjoy in the folk music and dance. The performances are held every Sunday (from March to late October and several times throughout the winter) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visitors may also visit the "Konavle Homeland Museum", decorated as a Konavle home, and which exhibits beautiful examples of the Konavle folk costume and artefacts and jewellery. Also available are a number of original handmade souvenirs, in particular, Konavle embroidery, which is sold by women wearing the traditional folk costumes.
